Breton Village is Changing: The shopping center at Breton village has been purchased by a Massachusetts developer. So, the upscale village might be getting a bit more upscale!

The Ring Bike Park Re-opens: A cicyling hotspot before Covid struck, is reopening for a series of Saturday events this summer. With food trucks, graffiti artists and fun for the whole family - it’s a unique way to spend an afternoon in Burton Heights!

Grand Rapids Taco, Tequila and Margarita Fest: Start preparing your taste buds. Over 10 food vendors will be pairing their wares with over 165 different kinds of tequila, margaritas, beer, or cider at RiverSide Park.

Rico’s Deli Brings The Chill: Rico’s Deli have opened their doors to help Grand Rapids’ homeless beat the summer heat.

Bike Helmets And Books: The Kent District Public Library gave away 100 free bike helmets as part of their 17th Annual Lids at the Library event. Another event will take place this coming Wednesday, where another 100 bike helmets will be given away.
